Inclusive actions
One of our objectives is to make the maritime sector inclusive. With the help of our commited staff and the nature of our projects we make it possible! For that reason, we collaborate with the following Socio-inclusion organisations and the Balearic Employment Office in order to provide their users with new training and job possibilities in our sector. We offer mentoring sessions, nautical training courses and our network of nautical companies who can later employ these vulnerable groups.
Boat Cleaning Course
In the training course for cleaning boats the student will learn to:
– Know basic security measures
– Know different types of boats
– Acquire nautical vocabulary – Learn cleaning techniques inside and outside a boat.
There will be 2 tests: theoretical and practical. The student will receive a final certificate.
Nautical English
This course has been developed to offer students an introduction to the Nautical Sector that will help them find future employment opportunities within the industry. The course has been designed to provide a initial general knowledge of the Words, Terms and Phrases used in the Nautical Sector, both in a general sense as well as in specific areas.
Maritime Literacy
The Maritime Literacy course presents dynamic and innovative contents made up of 6 modules where theoretical and practical sessions are combined. During the course the student will acquire knowledge and skills of the maritime world and navigation. There will be 3 tests: theoretical, practical and test of license. The student will receive a final certificate and a license navigation
