European Maritime Projects
Driving Innovation and Sustainability in the Maritime Sector
Our Maritime European Projects focus on strengthening coastal communities, supporting blue economy growth, and promoting sustainable innovation across Europe’s maritime sector. Through transnational cooperation, we design and implement initiatives that respond to current challenges in marine environments and nautical tourism.
We work with public institutions, private organisations, research centres, NGOs, and local stakeholders to create practical solutions with measurable impact. By connecting partners from different countries, we help transform ideas into funded projects that generate long-term value for regions and communities

01. Next BlueGeneration
NBG aims to improve the age balance of the blue economy workforce and lower youth unemployment by providing teachers in secondary, vocational, and tertiary education with the adequate tools and data
02. TEcoNaut
TEcoNaut aims at making the boating building sector greener by creating skilled workers who will be connected to boat building companies that implement sustainable solutions.

04. EnviroNaut 2.0
The EN2.0 programme will be tailored to the exiting EnviroNaut course and add a new dimension by enabling trainers and
instructors to teach the course to their students in the different sub-sectors of Marinas, Sea Schools & Watersport Clubs,
Skippers and Boat Maintenance
05. We are Blue Schools
WABS is aimed to bring environmental awareness and sustainability skills to young people in schools by teaching them Ocean Literacy. The concept has been well researched and defined, however its implementation into schools in Europe has so far been minimal. This project covers that gap.

07. BlueGeneration
Blue Generation inspire and engage young people to pursue a sustainable career in one of the following Blue Economy sectors: coastal tourism, aquaculture, ocean energy, marine biotechnology, shipbuilding, maritime transport, and fisheries
08. EnviroNaut
Environaut created the first-ever curriculum for the position of “Environmental Officer in Nautical Tourism” and deliver it in form of a course. This serves as a continuous professional training programme, which currently does not exist in this sector.

10. Skills beyond the Sea
The project provides sea-farers and those who want to become seafarers with information about their skills and guidance for their career planning. It provides the SkillsPath Tool with a detailed list of their formal skills and analyses and validates through the Informal Skills Scanner their informal transversal skills.
08. ACTs
The ACTs Project has produced a unique e-learning course for COLREGs that offers a fast and efficient way of learning the Collision Regulations.
09. eSgEA
The eSgEA project aims at supporting the shipping industry in achieving a cross-sectoral transition towards sustainability by recognizing and enhancing the critical importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. It helps promote transparency and trust within organizations.
